My SkinCare Routine

Today I want to share my really quick and simple skincare routine and the products I’ve been using on my face. I really like it because it’s not intense and does not include millions of products.

Cleansing & Masks

When it comes to washing my face, I’ve just decided to stick with a classic. I’ve used this Neutrogena pink grapefruit face wash and the scrub in the same line on and off since I was 18 and it does the job. Something that I have added to the mix is my Clarisonic, I went to the Lancome counter a few months back and the lady convinced me that I needed this thing in my life and you can guess what happened next. No-one has ever accused me of being an uncooperative shopper.

Finally, once a week I use my Glamglow Supermud mask which helps to clean my pores and with any acne. Every now and then I also use Glamglow’s Thirstymud when my skin needs a little hydrating.

I don’t actually buy a toner, I make my own. It only requires two ingredients, apple cider vinegar (with mother) and water. This stuff is great for acne and scars. Using an acidic toner helps to balance your skins pH.

I’ve been using La Mer moisturizer. It is said to be anti aging and the reason for celebrities like J-lo and Kim Kardashian’s glow. I know it’s a little bit on the pricey side but it is fantastic, especially when it’s cold outside because my skin is so dry in the winter.

Some days I top it off with some jojoba oil, almond oil or bio oil.

The last part of my skincare routine is eye cream. Ladies and gentlemen it is never too early to start using an eye cream. I’ve been using Clinique’s pep start which is formulated for people on the go. It has a little rollerball that makes the process efficient.

That’s it guys, that’s my current skincare routine and it’s been working. If you have any products you think I should try please comment, I’d love to hear from you.
