One Outfit Four A/W 2017- 2018 Trends

1. Red Alert

Red has been a really big trend this season, especially for footwear. I’ve seen this on the runways of Givenchy, Fendi, Balenciaga and Oscar de la Renta just to name a few and on some of my favorite bloggers. I would have never thought of wearing bright bold shoes but it actually works.

2. Office wear & broad Shoulders

Office style wear is also really big this season, especially the prince of Wales blazers with a little bit of padding. Most people have dressed it down with a print t-shirt and a loafer or sneakers. This trend has been seen on the runways of Stella McCarthy, Calvin Klein and many more.

3. Gucci Overload

2017 was definitely the year of Gucci, dominating bags, belts, shoes, sunglasses, T-shirt’s; you name it. Gucci was everywhere you looked to the point where I couldn’t go onto my explore page on Instagram without seeing something Gucci. While the head to toe Gucci thing was a bit much for me I did really love some of the looks with Gucci Statement Pieces. I thought the Gucci trend would die down in 2018 but it hasn’t and I’m not mad at it.

4. Print Logo T-shirts

Speaking of Gucci, one of the cult items from the last year and even now are the t-shirts. These T-shirt’s were so popular they inspired many dupes (like the one I’m wearing in my picture because I will not spending more than €50 on a T-shirt. I just can’t bring myself to do it). However logo tees were not exclusive to Gucci. Dior also had a few that were mainly about the feminist movement. Fashion is reflective of the current social climate, and the feminist movement is something that has been seen on T-shirt’s from many other designers like Prabal Gurung. What’s great about this trend is I’m sure it will carry on though to summer.
